Celebrating Spring at Keukenhof

Keukenhof, known as ‘Garden of Europe’, is the world’s largest flower garden. As easy day trip from Amsterdam, Keukenhof is every photographer’s delight.

 

So on a sunny day, we headed to the garden brimming with tulips, crocuses, hyacinths and daffodils.Pics-1-10

Walking around the park, covering around 32 hectares, you get transported far away from the hustle bustle of Amsterdam.In case you get tired of all that walking, you can chill on the grass soaking in the nature all around.

Fact File:

Keukenhof is open every spring from March to May. The opening dates tend to vary every year. Do check their official website (www.keukenhof.nl) before you plan your trip. Also, purchasing your tickets online can save you a lot of time (in good weather, the queue can get insanely long).

Getting There: From Schipol (Amsterdam Airport), there is Bus No. 858 which will take you directly to Keukenhof. Travel Time: 25 minutes.
